The Dayton Jazz Advocate is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization established to promote the music education, jazz heritage, and jazz related artists and organizations throughout the greater Dayton region. Originally the brainchild of Ron Gable, The Dayton Jazz Advocate started out as an email newsletter in 2005 that provided subscribers with information about local jazz related events.  Ron quickly attracted a small and dedicated group of like minded individuals.

Dayton has a great jazz scene, and it is our goal to help bring it to you.  From educational opportunities to venues to upcoming events, we strive to bring you the best jazz in the greater Dayton area.
